Formax Folder and Inserter - Model 6402

The Formax FD-6402 can be used for almost any folding and inserting application. The standard FD-6202 has two standard feeders with all the advanced features of the 6402 Series. The FD6402-Special 2 has one standard feeder and one special feeder for processing glossy and heavier paper stock. These folder inserters deliver unmatched flexibility and power needed for high-end productivity in a sleek compact design that is idea for the office environment.

This folder inserter can handle a variety of documents up to 14-inches in length, including checks, invoices, newsletters some models handle reply envelopes. An optional special feeder allows the insertion for glossy documents as well. Several custom configurations are also available. These folder inserters operate at a speed of up to 4,000 pieces per hour and can hold up to 325 sheets in each feeder. Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) features are also available as an option.

The color touch screen control panel is centrally located with a flip-down display that can be used from either side of the inserter. The AutoSet feature sets the standard for ease-of-use. All settings such as fold type, fold length, envelope size, paper length, and double-document detection are set automatically. Simply load the material and go.
